I had the mispleasure of going here and was offered drugs by the doormen. When i refused to buy some he turned very rude. I thought St Albans was a nice place.

This is a very steep and traffic-lined hill. Legend has it that St. Alban's severed head rolled down the hill from the execution site and into a well at the bottom. If you are at the bottom of the hill it is a much easier and more aesthetic climb to walk up the hill in Verulamium Park.

 Drive right through by St_Vincent
It's also a drive through restaurant and that's what I suggest you do - without stopping. There is a café area in Sainsbury’s where you can get something to eat and you don’t need to be shopping in the supermarket to use it.
