The one thing you have to try when you visit Folkestone is the fresh cockles and muscles down the harbour there are about 5 cockle stalls down there and one is open all year round. Let them slip down your throat with a little malt vinigar and a pint of lager Mmmmm lovely. Photos comming very soon.

Another British tradition is eating fresh seafood at the seasde and Folkestone is no exception. There are quite a few stalls all offering more or less the same choice.

Some traditions never die and the English rock is one of them. In Folkestone you can still see the rock makers at work. The shop is in the Old High Street and it is great fun to watch them.
