Not really a bar although there is a small seating area at one end. The main business is an excellent all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet and it is worth a mention just for that. No "all boiled rice and hunt the crispy duck" here, as attentive staff keep the varied and plentiful dishes well stocked. It's not cheap and you probably have to ask yourself if you are able to eat £13 worth of Chinese food but it is cheaper midweek and lunchtimes and is well worth a visit if you're hungry. My favourites at Giovanni's are fried whitebait, which are tiny little fish deep fried in seasoned flour untill they are crispy. These you eat whole including the head and tails Mmmmmmm Loooovely. Also a mixed seafood platter which is squid, lemon sole, king prawns, skate and sea bass, wow is this tasty or what. Plus there steak is fab and its cooked in garlic and pernod. (ENJOY).
