    DEAD END STREET

What to buy: Well what can i say about folkestone for shopping at the moment, i can sum this up in one word CRAP at this moment in time there is nothing in the way of shopping that would bring the tourists flocking to Folkestone, its had hardly any investment over the last years and many shops have simply shut there doors for good. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, a consortium has been formed and the council say that a multi million pound indoor shopping mall will start to be constructed this year Hahahaha and pigs may fly. We was promised this 10 years ago. If they ever start i will do a start to finish photo gallery to put on vt. As they say seeing is believing.Well could pigs fly they might just because work on the new Folkestone shopping mall has finnally started, i will update photos when poss

This is a photo of the top end of Folkestone town shopping area and as i prob told you before, folkestone just aint the place to come shopping, its been badly neglected over the years with many shops closing down or simply moving to a more prosperous town. But hopefully this will change when, or if we ever get the new multi million pound shopping mall the council have been promicing for the last 10 years

    FOLKESTONE TOWN

This is a picture of the main part of the shopping center in Folkestone, and as you can see theres not much of it. Folkestone is not really the best place to come shopping for clothes ext, the best place i suppose is Debbenams, but apart from that the shops are small and boreing

  • Williams Radio and Electrical: The Little shop that got bigger

by williamsradio Updated Dec 13, 2004
    The Electrical shop

Williams Radio has been trading in Folkestone for more than 25 years. Williams has never needed to advertise as the friendly service and advice mean that customers always return.
Folkestones little shop for 25 years has now just got bigger, and has moved to new premises in Rendezvous Street.
All of the products have remained the same, as has the service, but Williams now stocks Computer spares and accessories.

What to buy: People come from Ashford, Dover and North Kent to find electrical components and accessories that are not to be found anywhere else.

What to pay: From as little as a couple of pence to over one hundred pounds
