    Laundromat & Maidstone

Favorite thing: This is the name of the Laundromat in Maidstone.
We found it a little hard to find as we didn't have a map. It is located in a side street, which was pretty full of cars. Luckily, one pulled out, and we managed to grab a park. There were plenty of machines and dryers. The Laundromat closed at 9pm, so we had to come back in the morning to dry the clothes. This time, it was manned by two, very nice women. They do an ironing & washing service, so I had my husbands trouser's ironed, this cost 1 pound.
    Certainly would recommend this Laundry.

Favorite thing: Whatman Park, shiny and new, built for the millenium and worth every penny. A skatepark and an open air stage are its best features, it is linked to the river by two new bridges and is well worth a visit.

    Short visit

Favorite thing: We visited Maidstone only for a few hours: had a delicious lunch in a Spanish restaurant and walked through the town center. If you're driving through it's a nice place to stop by.
