There`s no point me telling you where it is because on the 2nd of September 2004 the last live music pub in town went the same way as the brewery and the sweetie factory - goodbye to The Royal Albion, the latest victim of the half baked scheme to modernise the small town of Maidstone and another good reason for moving to London.

    Check out a local band.

Gengis Khant, a local band seen here at a charity concert in Whatman park, constant line up changes mean that the band are now spiraling into decline just like the rest of Maidstone. The park is a brilliant millenium gift to the town and one of the few places worth visiting, there is even a skatpark.
Our best band though is definately The Playgirls ( www.theplaygirls.co.uk ) Four girls loaded with talent who regularly rock the pubs and clubs of the south east.

Dress Code: There are places in Maidstone that will refuse you entry for wearing the wrong sort of shoes, take your hard earned beer money and spend it elsewhere.
