The Lighthouse Bar: Lighthouse Bar

The lighthouse Bar is a relatively new place located on the far end of the harbour wall next to the lighthouse (hence the name). You can sit inside or outside. Both options give you fabulous views of Margate. Inside the bar they have a wood burning stove and leather sofas, so it's really cosy in the winter. They have a good range of drinks, not cheap, but it's worth a visit for the great location.
The only downside is that there is no indoor toilet, so you have to walk along the harbour wall if you need to go!

Escape nightclub - www.escapemargate.com Young clientele, if you are over 25 you'll feel old! located on Margate seafront.

Franks Nightclub-www.franksnightclub.com Appeals to a wider age range and plays a mix of music. - Ethelbert Terrace, Cliftonville.

Club Caprice - Generally caters for a more mature clientele, although anyone is welcome! - located just past the Winter Gardens.

DV8 - www.dv8margate.com Brand new and very popular at the moment. I've not been there yet! Dress code I think. Located on the seafront.
