TY8 is an 'Oriental fusion' restaurant that has excellent food, excellent service and is great value for money. For around £15 a head you can each as much as you like, choosing from an extensive range of dishes including unlimited crispy duck if you like it! Alternatively you can choose from the A La Carte menu. I have to resist the temptation not to go to this restaurant every week!
Here are a few other restaurants worth checking out.

Rosaria's has the best setting possible, overlooking the Margate sands. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and the food is excellent. The dishes are always freshly cooked and top quality ingredients are used. The menu is extensive, and they have now introduced an all you can eat menu, with slightly smaller portions so you can try even more dishes! Prices are very reasonable and food is consistently delicious. Definitely worth a try...
Favorite Dish: The ribeye steak is fantastic, as are the pizzas. The grilled mixed seafood is also very good. There isn't a bad meal on the menu!
One of my favourite restaurants in Margate, the Ali Raj is located near to the main sands and within walking distance of the station. It is a large, modern restaurant divided in to two areas for smoking and non-smoking. (This will change to all non-smoking when the ban comes in to force). Mr Ali's curries are excellent and the portions are large. The menu is extensive offering a variety of dishes from different regions, including a few English dishes for the less adventurous members of your family or group. Bookings are advisable at weekends, but go early or late and you should get a table.
Favorite Dish: If you like spicy food I recommend Chicken Dhansak (comes with rice) and Syleti Nann.
There are lots of various pubs and restaurants near the beach and at the center of the town. I'm sure, it's hard to miss them on your way;-) So, it's just impossible that you will stay hungry or thirsty there...
Ther are plenty of fast food restaurants along the seafront. If you want a bit more 'class ' then head awy from the front . Try some side streets for great seafood restaurants.
