Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The weather is changing over here very quickly. Always take some warm and anti wind clothes. Because of the sea you feel much colder that your termometer says.
Nightlife dressing code is... well , I dont think there is any because I have seen naked people as well

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: A coat is an absolute necessity whatever time of year you're in Blackpool. The weather is very unpredictable and if it is nice, chances are it'll only last a couple of days. It's not the Med :) A coat will not only keep you warm if the worst happens, but will also prevent you from instantly standing out as a holidaymaker (which, sadly and as far as some are concerned, is equivalent to wearing a neon sign on your head saying "Fleece Me").

Luggage and bags: An extra fold up bag is useful to bring back mementos and gifts.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Water proof coat to protect not only from sea spray but from rain. You may not need it but better to have than to have not!
Photo Equipment: The camera to capture pictures of people behaving like idiots. (They may do the same, however).
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Blackpool can get quite cold at times, even in the summer, so a warm fleece or similar may be a good idea.
Miscellaneous: Don't forget your beach towel. Alternatively buy one there.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Warm clothing as the weather can change on the coast. When it rains in the north of england, it rains hard so pack a strong umbrella and carry this with you at all times.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can find shops and chemists around Blackpool, so no need to pack items which you may not put to use.
Photo Equipment: Take your camera and snap away, lots of places to see, especially the illimuations around Sept/Oct
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring your bucket and spade as the beach is lovely in the summer time.

Luggage and bags: It depends if you are staying ina hotel ifnot all you will need is money. If you are staying over i would say bring cloths for what you think you might be doing like if you are going to the theatre then you should bring some smart clothes and get a bit dressed up. What ever suits you.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I would reccommend you bring some extra clothing because if it is a cold day and you go to the pleasure beach and you get wet it won't fell nice if you have to go out to the theatre in what you are already wearing.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If you are staying ina hotel they will provide it for you so that you don't have to bring any. If you are only comeing for a day i would advise you bring some wipes just to clean yourself up and refresh yourself.
Photo Equipment: It depends if you are wanting to take photos of your family although i would advise it as when the sunsets blackpool looks magical so that is when you will get some good photos.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: If you are going to go on the beach bring some swimming wear so that your children can go into the sea.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring motion sickness pills for those who will be enjoying the rides at Pleasure Beach. Some antacids might be a good idea after consuming all the candy, ice cream and candy floss on the piers.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring your beach gear, there are 7 miles of beach to lay out on when the tide is out.(perhaps scuba gear when the tide is in ;) ?)
Miscellaneous: Lots of cash as there are tons of shops to buy silly souveniers. With every step there is another booth or shop luring you in to spend your money.

Luggage and bags: BACKPACK (IT'S NOT WORTH STAYING TOO LONG).
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: WARM CLOTHES ARE A VERY GOOD IDEA WHEN GOING TO BLACKPOOL UNLESS BRITAIN IS REALLY WARM.
WATERPROOFS ARE ALSO A VERY GOOD IDEA.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: JUST YOUR USUAL STUFF.
Photo Equipment: NORMAL CAMERA, FILM, AND BATTERIES.
Miscellaneous: UMBRELLA.

Luggage and bags: Tip: There's a good, cheap left luggage at the North train station.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Take warm clothes as it can be very windy. An umbrella would be useful too.
