Stockleys Sweet Factory was here originally, but it has moved main production to a bigger more modern factory. The old factory still operates as a "living museum" and is part of the Oswaldtwistle Mills complex. You can watch the sweets being made and help yourself to free samples.
They also have here "The World's Largest Pear Drop" - and here I am sat beside it.

walking and seeing Oswaldtwistle at it's best lot's of green grass, Wild life , history, ok If you like shopping that as well we have the Oswaldtwistle Mills they have lot's to see if you like shopping that is but do not let ME put you off from going there they come from all over the country to see the Place they have lots of car Parking space.
but from that find your way to see the rest of the town and it's Large green Belt walking is the thing for Oswaldtwistle so I hope you have a good per of walking shoes,boots what ever.
Oswaldtwistle Mills is a must if you are in the area. From the Largest Pear Drop in the world, to luxury furniture, you can find it here. Fashion, furniture, bedding, shoes, perfume, gifts,plants, garden furniture, towels, clocks, wool, arts and crafts, cafes, absolutlry everything is under one roof here. Then outside there is a picnic area, with a "Gnome " island for the kids, with plenty of wild life to feed.
