A quaint little café on the main street. The café sells homemade freshly baked delicious looking cup cakes. I just had a delicious cup of latte.
There are 12 flavours of cupcakes, shortcake scones, chocolate chunk brownie and also milkshakes and delicious coffee’s and tea.

I didn’t buy any fish and chips here on this visit as I was heading towards Oldham and Wetherspoons.
As I was leaving the village Betty’s was open and there was quite a queue.
EAT IN OR TAKE AWAY
The next time I visit Uppermill, which will be quite soon, I shall try the fish and chips and give a verdict. Watch this space!!!!
The Kings has changed hands in February of 2011, they have new chefs and the place has had a refurb. The food is fabulous and well presented, priced about right and they have a large range of beers and lagers to choose from. Also, a very good wine list. Lovely beer garden to the rear and ample parking.
Favorite Dish: My favourite dish was the Salt & Pepper chicken burger served with hand cut proper chips and salad garnish.
Situated in the Grains Bar district of Saddleworth is the Kings Arms,a very pleasent pub/restaurant with a varied menu and bar.The pub is very popular with both locals and tourists alike due to its excellent food and great service as well as its stunning views of the local countryside. The pub is only a few minutes walk from the village of Denshaw which is also popular with tourists.
There is a large car park to the rear and a small beer garden as well as a covered smoking section.
Favorite Dish: The Cajun Chicken sandwich was excellent as is the roast beef, both served with homemade chips and salad.
