Behind the telecom building and the bus depot is this half sunken wreck. It’s here in the town centre where the River Freshney leads from the harbour and dock area. Not far from this sight is the town’s main shopping area and nightlife. New shops and bars are opening all the time and this wreck has been here for years gradually sinking into the water, but stubbornly refusing to disappear.
Central trains havn't really quite sussed what a railway is all about yet.
Their service are somewhat sporadic, often badly interconnected & often delayed.
Despite this warning it's stll a reasonably pleasant way to get around the county.
Sevices to and from London are generally much better via GNER which runs up to Grantham, and carries on to Newcastle and Scotland.
The main gap in the network is between Lincoln and Skegness, but this is covered by a a good bus service.
