The great thing about the Krazy House is it attracts such a mixed bunch of people. Indie, goths and more conventional clubbers all rub shoulders. Great atmosphere and good music particularly at weekends. Open Thurs- Sat 21.00 - 03.00

The Cracke is a great little pub where John formed his first band 'The Dissenters' in 1960. The great news is the decor and layout have hardly changed. Unlike many establishments it retains a maze of little rooms and the walls still sport a rather crazy mural from the '60's. The pub attracts a rather diverse clientele including students for the near by Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. This Institute was part financed by that other guy Paul McCartney. The pub has recently opened up the rear yard making a popular outdoor drinking area.
Anything goes! Theme: Eating and DrinkingAddress: 13 Rice StreetDirections: The pub is tucked away in Rice Street amongst the Georgian houses near by. Rice Street can be found off Hope Street close to the Philharmonic Hall.

Nice modern lounge with some good food as well. It's setting right in the Albert Dock does the rest. I really liked that place.
Well, tehy let us in with our tourist look. Usually it's kind of a modern bar and you shouldn't probably wear your oldest ACDC shirt. Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingDirections: Albert Dock

Korova is one of the coolest clubs in Liverpool. If it sounds familiar well it takes its name from the milk bar in Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange. Fortunately its drinks don't tend to lead to the same behaviour. Come here to listen and dance to indie, electro and other beats. Korova has top DJ's and live music. Best on Friday nights. 9.00 - 4.00am

To me Garlands is the best Club in Liverpool, there are others, but this one is the Top Banana! Warning - It is gay friendly, so if your in a big group of lads, you are not going to get in, and if you look abit dodgy you have got no chance. Your best bet would be to grab a girl off the street who is going and go in as a couple. When you arrive you will be searched. They know people will be off their heads in there and it is the doorman/womans duty to take anything they find on you off you. Once you get in you have never experienced anything like it. The music is great, there are 4 rooms. One upstairs which plays your normal dance music. This room is the funniest. There are transvestites strutting there stuff on the stages, glamour girls giving it large, well presented men (on both buses!) trying to impress the girls and boys. You really will have an excellent time here. Downstairs is two chill-out rooms, one which plays all kinds of music, from Beyonce to Jason Donovan, the trannie DJs are so funny and join in the fun. The other chill out room is just full of people well properly off there heads and chilling out, if thats your thing, then you'll meet loads of people and make friends in here and get invited to loads of parties after the Club has shut. The Music in the downstair club area, I feel is a little trancy and hardcorish, but everyone in there is having an absolute wail of a time.
If your a girl, the shortest skirt ever, but make sure you look classy not trashy. You have to really shake your ass in there! Bling and lots of it - false tacky bling is alright! Glamourama is the key to getting in this place. If your a boy, feel free to dress like a woman, the more lipstick the better. You will find it easier to get in! For those men that dont feel like putting on a dress smart casual is fine (no trackies - only scallies were them and they dont let scallies in!) Jeans are allowed in here, not sure about trainers though! Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: City CentreDirections: Just off Dale Street

THIS CLUB WAS IN THE 60"S A PLACE THAT THE BEATLES USE TO GO AFTER PLAYING LONG AND HARD AT THE CAVERN AND THEN GOING TO THE GRAPES TO HAVE SOME BEERS.. SO THEY USED THIS PLACE AS A RETREAT FROM THE HOT AND SWEATY ATMOSPERE OF THE CAVERN. THERE IS STILL A PICTURE OF JOHN,PAUL,GEORGE AND PETE BEST FROM 1961 HAVING SOME SUDS. THIS IS THE PLACE PETE BEST HEADED TO AFTER HEARING THAT HE HAD BEEN KICKED OUT OF THE BEATLES........

If your more Black Sabbath and ZZ Top than Zero 7 or Ladytron the Swan Inn is probably for you. A bikers pub without the bikes but not one in which to feel intimidated. Good beer and reasonable prices. The Tatt's come free! Open 12.00pm to 11.00pm.

Just whilst you are here in Concert St notice the artwork known as the Tango - just on the corner near the Aussie Bar - showing two dancers intertwined in the act of the Tango, arms outstrectched. This design by Allen Jones 1984 is yet another artwork originally produced for the International Garden in Liverpool in 1984 - the yellow subamarine also came from here. A Liverpool charity - the Liverpool art and design trust has been suporting their rejuvenation around the city. I also like this one of an Aussie! Theme: Eating and Drinking
