Its quite a grotty little night club that you go to at the end of the night, but the drinks are really cheap and there's always a great atmosphere.
Dress Code: I think anything goes for this place as it's a bit of a student bar.
Wood Street is packed full of bars and clubs. One of the best clubs to go if you like to have dance to 70's and 80's music is the Blue Angel. It's right at the top of Wood Street and you have to bang on a door to get in. The price is £3 to get in, but the drinks are soooooo cheap. A pint of Fosters lager will set you back 70p.
Dress Code: Smart. No jeans, no trainers.
Fire Code? Man I have never seen so many hard core drinkers and people crammed into a pub, bar or whatever to drink. One of the places where the women pee with the men because getting a female stall is out of the question.
Concert Sqaure is probably the main area to go out in Liverpool. Many different types of bar, clubs, etc. Has pretty much everything catered for.
Wood Street is another area for a group of bars and clubs. However, I did not go here at night, but I would have it I had another night in Liverpool.
Saw Pop World, Reflex and Revolution.
The best DJ's in the World are from here. Go the the Parr Street and find lots of different night clubs.
Set in an old pumphouse with a fantastic old chimney, right by Albert Dock. The pub is not only in a great location, but inside it's really comfortable too with sofas and armchairs to relax in.
As described in my "must see" section - a fine victorian interior, and sofas and armchairs where you can really make yourself feel at home (right, Sabs?)
Dress Code: casual
Lively at night its was also very lively during the day (Good Friday). The sun was warm and quite a crowd had gathered here to sup a few pints.
I love to see the buildiings lit up at night and the view from the Albert Dock complex of the 3 graces by night is quite lovely.
The radio city tower has a strange laser show at night...you can watch it change colour from blue to purple to green...very luminous....and such a strange sight so prominent in the city centre.
For those of you not into the club/bar nightlife scene then pop over to West Kirby and catch a magical sunset over Hilbre island....see more on my West Kirby page.
Nice view of the Docks and the Liver building from the window seats
Dress Code: Smart at night. ( I dont think they would have let me in at night, somehow!!)
This is the famous little club where the Beatles used to perform live back in the 60s before they were even famous
Dress Code: Casual, but no Trainers
