Typical England

Nothing posh - unless you're staying in a swept up hotel that is
Layers....and waterproofs.Like anywhere in this country you can get any sort of weather and you need to be prepared. Always take water/windproofs when walking on the moors or coast. Sensible shoes are a must.Generally the style is relaxed.
Everything is available locally. In the summer if you are by water it will be a good idea to use an insect repellent.
Of course, loads of opportunities for spectacular photographs.
You have the beach, the moors and the hills and some rather nice towns too so you should consider what you're likely to do and bring the equipment you'll need. Don't overdo it though, most stuff can be hired, including bikes.
If you're hiking you'll need the OS maps for the area, binoculars to enjoy the views and the wildlife and a backpack to hold your water, lunch and various additional items of clothing.
