A sit down, waitress service fish and chip restaurant with, in many peoples opinion, locals and tourists alike, the best fish and chips ever. Various sizes to choose from, childrens to extra large. Delicious haddock in crispy batter fried to perfection. Large chips, mushy peas if required. Always busy at lunchtimes when they do a special including pot of tea and bread and butter, both traditional accompaniments in Yorkshire.
Favorite Dish: Small Haddock with Chips, Pot of Tea

Typical "local" cafe - selling burgers, fish & chips, other snacks, coffees and cakes.
Favorite Dish: We had the "special" - cappuccino with a chocolate muffin.

Service good. Restaurant clean and well managed. They have their own take away fish and chip shop next door which nearly always had a long queue - a good sign!
Favorite Dish: All of the fish dishes are excellent
