Belonging to the Marston Brewery chain of pubs and restaurants, this canalside pub is the ideal location to have a meal and watch the narrow boats on the water next to the pub. Service was attentive and very firendly. We popped in for lunch only and the food was of a good standard and was hot. The menu offers steaks , chicken, sandwiches and other pub grub. Reasonably priced too.Very good sized restaurant and also a good sized car park. I would imagine in the summer this place is heaving with tourists as the village is so pretty.
I had the Cajun Chicken and salad and it was good. Chris had the burger with cheese and it certainly filled him up!

Absolutely delightful cuisine! They have an extensive menu which includes a wide variety of meat, fish and game. As I recall, they have a good selection for vegetarians, too.All of the food is perfect, very well cooked and presented ... goes down well with a bottle of wine from the house.Typical meal is about £20 per head.
Me, well, I am a sucker for good ol' Steak and Chips.
