There is a very busy co-op on Main St, but only the odd food shop here and there. Stock up before you get to Seashouses it makes economical sense.
Also a pharmacy and an excellent bakery just across from the Co-op.
High Street with all the shops you will need- newsagent, that's English for News Stand, Variety of Chippys - that is a Fish & Chip Take Away, a few food stores, logs and kindling for the open fires, a few selling various English Seaside Trinkets. In short shopping limited to essential provisions.
What to buy: Gifts for my mum and dad who looked after the cats whilst we were away.
Lots of logs for the fire.
