Antibo's has a fantastic menu with lots of choice for all tastes, Pizzas, spaghetti, steaks, kebabs and more. The staff are great too, really friendly and helpful and always ready to serve you. The restaurant is very clean and modern and has a lovely atmosphere. Its quite busy at weekends so sometimes you may need to book in advance.
I enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese and i also like the steak kebab on a skewer. For a starter they do gorgeous garlic mushrooms with a nice breadroll and the garlic bread is delicious too. Frankie & Benny's has a traditional 1950s New York feel to it with its original family photographs, traditional wooden furniture and old music. They serve a wide range of authentic American and Italian dishes at their restaurant including pizzas, pasta, burgers, ribs and fries. They also cater for vegetarians and serve cocktails, beers, wines and spirits at their bar. I like the warm welcome feeling at this restaurant, plus its a great start to a night out in Nottingham. Its good for a Birthday or other special occasions or just as a nice treat for yourself or a friend. I used to come here every week with my Dad before he moved to Egypt.
Wow... where can i start? Theres so much to choose from at this restaurant. One of my favourite dishes is the Pizza & house salad, i love the salad dressing oh & the fries here are lush too!

TGI Fridays is a large American chain of restaurants with predictably huge portions of American food, energetic waiting staff and a 'bar and grill' interior - great fun for kids. This branch is popular with students. Tgi's is a fantastic restaurant in the heart of Nottingham. It is great for to go for the start of a good night out, why not enjoy a gorgeous meal here then finish of the night either going out to a few bars, going to the cinema or even clubbing if your up for it. The atmosphere at Tgi's is great too, they have cheerful waiters and waitresses aswell as lots of happy customers all around. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. There is a great choice of food on the menu... from steaks, to pizza to chicken wings and potato skins then finish off with cookies and ice cream!
My favourite is the Jack Daniels Chicken wings.... grilled chicken smoothered in Jack Daniels and comes with a barbecue and garlic mayonaise dip. Yummy! This coffee shop is attached to the Jass interiors shop which sells some funky gadgets. There are different areas you can sit & sip lovely coffee & think my house could do with this they stock tables, chairs, lighting almost anything you can think of. There are tables outside with a very pretty little central garden & one would never guess you're on a busy main pedestrian street - the perfect hideaway. For me the coffee was a good hangover cure Leave a Comment

This restaurant has an authentic atmosphere. The decor, the chefs and waiters are Turkish, and sometimes there is even a Turkish belly dancer. Turkish food is, of course, very meaty. so, if you don't like a lot of grilled meat, this may not be the ideal place for you. Main courses cost around £9. Mixed kebab, for example, costs £9.25. Delilahs is an independent Deli, fine food store & wine merchant - you will find some of the most unusual foods here and a wonderful choice of hard to come by fine wines. We started our boozy evening here with a few glasses of the recommended Saviougn Blanc together with a deli platter of cold meats and cheeses it was completely delicious. The sell biltong a south african delicacy. The staff are wonderfully helpful & will let you sample what they sell this is top quality stuff. There are seats to sit around a service bar so you can nibble your deli platters or sandwiches freshly prepared before your eyes. Leave a Comment

Le Bistrot Pierre won the 2008 Best Casual Restaurant in Nottingham award, having won the Best Value for Money award at the Nottingham Restaurant Awards three years running. Their head chef has also won the Best Chef in Nottingham award. The food is superb. The best time to eat is from 6 to 7pm, when there is a special pre-theatre dinner offer of two courses for £11.50. Also, after 7pm it is usually completely full. So, you'll need to make a reservation. The atmosphere is informal, so don't feel you need to dress up to go there, although you can if you want to. Two evenings per month there is a Soiree Gastronomique with 6 courses for £18.60. I would say if you are only going to be in Nottingham for one day, then this is the restaurant you should eat in.
The carpaccio of beef entree is superb and the rib-eye steak, with peppercorns and garlic, is a delicious main course. Leave a Comment

My goal was to seek out a delicious sunday roast in Nottingham & I think we found a hidden gem in the trendy Hockley district. The decor of the restuarant is in keeping with the grade II listed orginal Boots chemist shop, the walls are neutral creams & greens. Chandeliers adourn the ceiling & complement the chesterfield sofas. They do a special of 3 courses for £14.95 & even though I am not a dessert person I could not bear to leave without indulging in their bread & butter pudding. For starters I had the skylark goats cheese, broad bean, mint & rocket salad followed by the best roast beef with all the trimmings. The portions were very adequate and extremly tasty. The staff were helpful & you could tell that they do not over-order & reheat as once it is gone its off the menu & we were one of the last tables to leave. Tues - Sat they do a lunch & dinner and sunday lunch is from 12 - 2.30pm Leave a Comment
