Oxfordshire - Dream house and garden

Of all the beautiful and historic houses I've visited in England, if I could choose one to call my own it would be Grey's Court at Rotherfield Greys in Oxfordshire. It's by no means the biggest, nor the grandest house you'll find - I don't think you would even call it a Stately Home - though it certainly has had some historic moments, but it is has such a charming lived-in and well-loved feel to it and, surrounded by the loveliest gardens full of intimate nooks and crannies, it sits so perfectly in its rural setting, it really is my dream home.The property has belonged to the National Trust for many years now but was, until her recent death, the beloved home of Elizabeth, Lady Brunner, who in collaberation with her head gardener created the series of gardens within the ruins of a fortified mediaeval manor.
