Formerly known as Le Petit Blanc, the restaurant is now called Brasserie Blanc in Jericho. It is owned by the famous French chef, Raymand Blanc and I would say it is one of the finest restaurant's Oxford has to offer.
A 3 course meal doesn't come cheap but it is well worth the money! However, ordering a bottle and a main course would not cost you a fortune.
The food was cooked to perfection, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was brilliant.
If you are looking to have a memorable meal, I would certainly recommend Brasserie Blanc!
Favorite Dish: I ordered the pork which was deliciously succulent and my partner ordered the sirloin steak which looked even more impressive.
It was clear they had taken time presenting the food and it looked great.
Oxford has a good choice of restaurants at various price levels and after more than a year here I've been to most of them. At first, after a year in New York, the restaurants here seemed remarkably cheap but that feeling has long since disappered.
This restaurant here is 'Le Petit Blanc' in Jericho - one of Oxford's most renowned and most expensive. I went here once when my parents visited and the meal was excellent. The service is quite slow (not surprising as it's a French restaurant).
