Food & Drink, Oxford
The Grog shop is a an Oxford favorite and is well known in these parts and beyond for having a wide range of beers ,wines and spirits from all over the world.Wether it be expensive French wines or speciality German beers there is something here for everyone who enjoys a good tipple.
The shop was established in 1982.
Opening times are 5-11pm all week.
What to buy: My favorite beers to buy here include a fruity Polish ale,a tequila based beer called Desperado from Mexico you guessed and Moosehead a strong Canadian lager.
What to pay: Pices are a little more expensive due to most products are imported and the wine can get a little pricey, but if you search around you can find the odd bargain offer.
Beautiful creations & variety! Crafted foods that look as beautiful as they taste. They are a memory to me now, though the variety of breads are still okay for this diabetic.
A box of Maison Blanc pastry & delicates will have you in heaven!
A box of them to anyone who comes & puts my shelves up!
What to buy: Delicate & light glazed cakes with Kiwi fruit & mandarin & so many variations!
Fresh bread of various types that melt in the mouth. Mmmmmmm!
What to pay: If you are as captivated as I, too much, but you wont mind a bit!
This cake shop captured my eye, they bake them and decorate them on the premises so if you are looking for something special or indeed a cake topping this may be the place to visit.
