When it starts raining, or when your stomach starts to rumble, don't think twice - jump into a pub - they are all over London! And they are all good. Pot Pie!!!

Restaurants in England can be pretty costly, often with uninspiring food. Things have got better over the years but watch your wallet. Indian restaurants are numerous and better value than average.
Now English breakfast is total another story, no, no, not exactly a healthy one and not too much vegetables either, but when on a holiday or a trip it is surely a great start for the day.

Some typical English pub food, not the best taste, not very healthy, but easy to get without the need of too much formality.

The food is okay-but you know everyone has to go there and take a picture.

Modern.... Nice.... Crab risotto; seared scallops with prosciutto chips and tomato vinaigrette; orange creme brulee with pistachio cookie; chocolate almond cake with rasberry coulis....
Have cheese, wine, and bread on the patio outside.
