What to buy: Over 50 local stallholders showcase festive treats and gifts throughout the day as they sell a variety of high quality food, drink and crafts.
What to pay: Various
Live Easy: Expensive and Fun
This shop is great! It's not big, but it does have a wide range of different things to look at. Most of the items on sale I either wouldn't buy because they are too expensive (although I'd love to own most of them!), or they are just silly!
They sell things like bright yellow Francis Francis Expresso Machines, stainless steel bathroom equipment. Notebooks for travellers! Keyrings and so on.
Nothing is really cheap, but so what!!
In fact I don't think I've ever bought anything from this store, although I really should have.
The name of the road the shop is on it also excellent: Dogpole - no joke!
Appleyards: Fantastic Delicatessens
This is a fantastic delicatessens in the middle of Shrewbury just along from The Square in Wyle Cop.
What to buy: Everything really from handmade chocolates, to cured meats, special cheeses, olives, you name it - they probably do it.... so long as it's a bit special :-)
What to pay: Well it won't be the cheapest food you ever buy, but you won't regret it!
