Things to bring to Bath
Luggage and bags: A day sack to carry your camera, fleece, waterproof etc
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comfy shoes for walking around the many sights, though most of the attractions are very close together.
The weather can be variable, so bring a waterproof or umbrella.
Bath is quite a smart place, so you might feel a bit out of place in jeans/t shirts /trainers in some of the more elegant restaurants/ bars at night. However, there are plenty of places were you'd feel comfortable dressed more casually.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Plenty of chemists etc in Bath.
The old fashioned pharmacy at the end of Pultney Bridge is worth a visit for stocking up on forgotten items (see my shopping tip)
Photo Equipment: Bath has some very interesting buildings and sights, so plenty of film/ batteries/ memory card etc should be packed! There are photography shops in Bath if You need to restock
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: No beach, but plenty of surrounding countryside/ river walks etc.
Come prepared for rain though!

Luggage and bags: We were lucky enough to have a car so it didn't matter too much, although our backpacks came in handy when carrying our gear from the car to the B&B rooms...
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Good walking shoes and wet weather gear are a must!
- Road Trip
Luggage and bags: Something you can haul on and off the train!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The weather is unpredictable, as in all of Europe! Bring waterproofs and Flipflops!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can get EVERYTHING and more, in the city.
Photo Equipment: Worth having a zoom, as some archittural stuff is hard to get at, eg top of the Abby!
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Not really needed, theres only one campsite in Bath, and I don't know where it is! And I LOVE camping!
Miscellaneous: Smartish clothes. If you want to go out for a nice drink in Bath its worth bringing something vaguely respectable. Trainers are fine in most places. If you want to get back to proper British pubbing, you will need a pair of runners, some baggy joggers and a t shirt (with ample room for beer gut extension!)
Meet Jack from Monterey
Miscellaneous: We brought along a teddy for the pictures. Meet Monteray Jack! Makes a nice change from having me in every second picture, don't you think?
