    Some nice Turkish restaurant...

by Deefstes Updated Aug 26, 2002

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Some nice Turkish restaurant that I can't remember the name of right now. I'll have to go look it up and update this page but it was a fantastic restaurant with a very interesting menu.

Favorite Dish: If I can't pronounce a dish I'm prone to forget what it was. The kebabish thing I had at this restaurant was lovely though. Their Turkish coffee is also to be recommended.

The Bar and restaurant at The Abbey Hotel are open to the public everyday for Meals, snacks and Afternoon teas. I have not eaten here but it has since been recomended to me as being very nice.

    Evan's Fish: Fish & Chips!

    by american_tourister Written Sep 4, 2007

The Evan Evans tour guide recommended it and he was dead on the money. It was the best chippy I have had in every trip I have ever taken to the UK.

This place is nice, cozy with good food and great desserts. From its windows you can see the Pulteney Bridge and the river.

Favorite Dish: The lemon tarte was great.
