Around Exmoor there are narrow winding roads. We had this tourist bus in front of us which had the speed of a snail. There was no way to overtake it. Also if you are prone to car sickness, make sure you sit in the front and take some mint chewing gum with you.
The roads up into the valley are very narrow and bordered by high hedges.If another car is
coming one has to stop in one of the frequently placed laybys to allow each other to pass.
If a tractor comes- you're well and truly stuck!
