Lovely pub, brewery attached, great beers and how a real pub should be?
A lunch time visit for us, food from 12 -14 only, large and tasty butties, very good beer - perfect, would love this to be my local
Part of the huge Coors brewery complex and home to the national brewery museum. I'll not mention the politics of the British brewing museum being in the hands of Coors here but a report on a visit to the restaurant on site.
Arrived too late for a visit to the museum but I know how beer is made and quite much of it's history too!
Friendly tap room with some excellent beer to be sampled, I will admit to being surprised, Worthington E cask on offer,a fantastic pint, food very decent too. A good place to visit for a beer or meal, enjoyed.
This is a great little restaurant and serves amazing food at a great price, the restaurant is like sitting in a Michelin star place. the staff are very professional and curtious. They have plenty of wines, soft music and the village itself is so peaceful. the bell also has a great bar selling real ales, so it's great for a quick drink before or after the meal. It also has a large beer garden and in the sunny summer months it's great to sit outside and relax after a great meal. It really is worth a visit, though I would book beforehand.
Favorite Dish: They have a great selection of starters, mains and desserts all with a slight twist, I always have a great steak, and finish off with a creme brulee.
There is a good range of eating houses from canalside pubs to the very grandest establishment. You can eat as simple or as royally as you like. Apart from the traditional style there is an international flavour with food ranging from Italian to Chinese to Indian.
Frankie & Benny's Middle Yard Leisure Park/Guild St Burton-on-Trent is very trendy restaurant. All sort of grill, pasta, steak are available. It's just not a bar but it is also a bar.
