A first visit to The Pirelli stadium, home of Burton Albion F.C. A division 2 game with Rochdale for us and spoilt as a spectacle by an early sending off for a Rochdale player. 1-0 home win but without the dismissal who knows, 'dale looked by far the better team, the final league table will tell!
Anyway it's a decent stadium, comfortable with a decent view and worth a visit to see reasonably priced lower division footie!

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

St. Modwen’s Church is classically inspired and was erected between 1719-1726 by William and Richard Smith of Tettenhall. It is well worth a visit particularly for its interior. Part of the vestry was destroyed in a fire at the turn of the 20th century, and admirably restored with local private, public and charitable monies.
