This historic 200 year old canal was previously part of the Wyrley and Essington Canal and is in the early stages of restoration by the Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust. It is a very favourire place for locals. I didn’t see boat riding in this canal but I have been told that boat riding is common here.
