Newcastle's shops are spread around the Town, and not all in on space or building as are many modern Town / City Shopping Centres..
The Roebuck Centre has just a few of the Town's shops
The good thing is its directly attached to the Town's multi-storey Car Park.
What to buy: The Roebuck contains an Argos, Next, Boots and others...
Around the Town are the other "Usual Suspects" such as Scotts, Wilkinsons, WHSmith, JJBs, Sainsburys, etc etc
Please note the bigger sized stores are found in the adjacent City of Stoke, at the main Centre which is called Hanley.
In between is the Festival Site which houses the larger stores such as Toys R Us, Powerhouse, PC World, Comet, DFS, Morrisons, etc etc
What to pay: Again its dependant on what you want and what your budget allows

Address: The Roebuck Centre, High St & Ironmarket
Stones' Market sells the usual array that most markets do... fruit, veg, hardware, cards, phone cases, suitcases, cd's, etc etc
Its run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays
What to buy: I get my fruit off one of the stalls.. £1 for a large bag of Bananas, the same for a bag of Apples and also for a large carton of Tangerines...mmmmmmmmmm
Fruitbat City :-)
What to pay: Whatever your budget allows..

1 Review and 215 Opinions OK, so it is really in Stoke-on-Trent. I first stayed here in 1995 and it has not changed that much....
