The local Library in Town is a decent one if you like those things...but while I was VTless it gave me the chance to Log on....make yourself a member for free and you get up to 1 hour free net access per day....useful if you're travelling

 DaveRowley Says:  Usual Fish & Chip shop style with a sit down area at the backGreat chips... I know people may think how can chips taste different from one place to another, but I assure you they do...mmmm :-) The chips are made in the usual way but they add Beef Dripping in the cooking oil...

It took a further 30 minutes to get four pretty poor mains. This place is expensive...£8.50 for 6...

 DaveRowley Says:  As mentioned in the Restaurant tips the food is good...as for drinking its not a pub that is full of blokes wtchin the footy, playing pool etc...its a decent place to go if you actually want to chat and drink with people, without being drowned out by outside sources..Great...

Town Centre Bus Station, Newcastle U Lyme, 4/04/05

The local bus station is directly in the centre of the Town, providing bus transport in all directions across North and Mid Staffordshire, South Cheshire, North Shropshire, South Cheshire and a service via Buxton, Tideswell and up to Sheffield.

Specific Travel passes are available and the buses are not in bad nick compared to years gone by...

 DaveRowley Says:  Whether its in the day to Shop or Eat, or at night to Drink, Dance and Eat, then the main 2 streets that house most facilities are the Ironmarket and the High Street.They are not long Streets as such and run at 90 degrees to each other. The Ironmarket is positioned @ halfway...
