Motor Vehicle

by kevin36

Just bear in mind Aldeburgh does not have a train station, nearest is Saxmundham. There are buses, but you really need a vehicle to get about this part of the country. The bus stop in the high street is just to the left of this picture, directly in front of the restaurant next to Barclay's bank. Here is a nice link for you from TomTom traffic updates Or Tom Tom route planner Free

Electric Bikes

by kevin36

New for 2007 Electric Bikes,if your looking for the best way to to explore the beautiful Suffolk coast and its many attractions, without spending half of your holiday driving and the other half trying to park, then try an Electric Bike. A Bike is without doubt the best way to enjoy the countryside, unless its raining of course, so why not get of the benefits of cycle ,but without the strain?.Location is Wards Old garage in the top part of the high Street Aldeburgh, just down from the Cinema.

The center is situated in the heart of Suffolk and is central to some of the best cycling in Suffolk. There is car parking and a picnic area at the center. Darsham Station is only one mile away if you want to come by train.Large fleet of cycles suitable for all ages. Cyclists must be able to ride competently and safely on the road, observing the Highway Code at all times. Most of the all terrain bikes have front suspension and are ideal for ‘off road’ tracks. The Best by Far

by morgandk

Get a very detailed map, then get a very good ride. Petro (gas) is expensive. Don't depend on the bus (might never show up!) Watch out for cabbies that, know a qicker route- you may spend longer in the cab.
