Trains between central London and Leatherhead are run by South West Trains on the line between London Waterloo and Guildford or Dorking. Trains leave Waterloo at least every 15 minutes during the working day. The journey takes about forty five minutes. To return to Waterloo, there are trains leaving Leatherhead regularly. At peak times, bicycles are not allowed on the trains, as they are very crowded. Costs start at £5.70 for an off peak standard single rising to £10.70 for a peak time day return. (First class is not available on most services.) London Transport travelcards and season tickets are not valid for travel to this station, as it is not in the zone system but discounts may be obtained with a variety of railcards, including the Network card.
Southern Railways also run a half hourly service from Leatherhead to Victoria, calling at Sutton, but I have never used this service.
The ticket office is open throughout the day and there are toilet facilities available within the station, which is listed as a partially accessible station. Parking and cycle storage is available.
