I work here-and I know what goes on behind the scenes. Nothing dirty, but the food just isn't that great. We have some good chefs, but unfortunately we do not offer a good selection of food. I know we are a Beefeater, but we only have two vegetarian options on the menu, no pasta, nothing like that, which I thik is not acceptable. If you like Steak and hot sauces pay us a visit though as it's probably just your style. Remeber to leave a tip though-waitresses don't like it if you don't-even a pound will suffice!

Favorite Dish: Don't really have one!

To be honest, you can get round Nuneaton town on foot really easily. Its all cobbled however, so if you are a bit wobbl don't do it on your own-even I trip up all the damn time.
The best way to get out of Nuneaton is by bus, as long as you aren't travelling far. There are loads of busses fairly regularly-you can even catch one straight to birmingham Airport which is really useful!
Never catch a taxi in Nuneaton-I live no mor than 4 miles from the centre, and it costs me well over ten pounds to get home!
If you want to go a bit further, the trains are good, and are rarely delayed so you can plan a timed trip fairly easily.

Nuneaton Shopping

There are loads of shops in Nuneaton. You have all the names, New Look which is quite big and regulalry has really good sales. There is a really big Debenhams and Marks n' Sparks, and other big name shops like Top Shop, Top Man, Woolies, etc. if you look carefully there are some really nice little shops too. One of my favourites is called the Way of Life and it sells all sorts of pretty a intricate things from jewellery to herbs and spices, relaxing music, stattues, and ealth foods. Its nice to go in just for a browse. (It also does body piercing but its not a teenage environment its very mother-earthy) There is also a shop called bad-times which sells all kinds of gothic things from clothes to mirrors with dragons-so good for people who enjoy fiction like Lord of The Rings etc. Its a nice little town for a day of shopping!

What to buy: Gothic specialist shop Bad Times and lots of sales on in most shops, most of the time!

What to pay: Average, but less if you can come in the sale times!!

Nuneaton is already well known for having way too many speed cameras. The sheer amount of them is ridiculous. However, they have decided to add more, so if you are travelling my car etc. around Nuneaton, do watch out for them!!!

Kingsbury Waterpark is a great place to go if you want to do pretty much anything. You can cycle, picnic, fly kites, walk dogs, play hide n' seek, hike, fish, play with water guns-anything!! There are loads of nature spots where you can watch birds if you are into that, and bigs expanses of fields if you want to picnic, or just have loads of fun with family and friends. On a sunny day, you just can't beat it!
