I saw two productions on both my visits to Stratford Upon Avon in 1999 and 2001. I saw 'Midsummer Night's Dream' in July 1999 and 'The Secret Garden' (musical) in January 2001.
(Will update more soon)
Drinking, dining and dancing all under one roof, whatever the occasion, birthday, hen party, divorce party or a night out with friends. By day this café style venue offers lite-bite to full restaurant options for all the family. At night its party time with music and entertainment.
the white swan pub or more commonly known as the dirty duck is located in the center of stratford upon avon next to the royal shakespeare company. this pub caters to a mixture of tourists and locals and is a great place to eat and drink when in stratford upon avon. if you want to save a quid or two there are cheaper pubs in town but i think it is worth a visit.
Chicagos is a great place, I have only ever been on a Wednesday night though. Meals are served but it is more like a nightclub, there is a bar in the centre of the room and a cocktail bar with a stage above it at the one end. In between the bars there is a small dance floor.
Although the cocktails are quite expensive I have tried a few and my favourite is the Brain Haemorrage, I know it contains Bailys but I'm not too sure what the other ingredient is.
Wednesday nights there is usually some kind of tribute band playing as well as a disco. The last time I went there was an ABBA tribute on who were very good.
Dress Code: Smart casual should be worn.
My friends who I used to work for own The Queens Head so I have spent quite a bit of time in there.
It is a nice well lit pub which serves excellent food and traditional ales.
There are quite a few local characters that drink in here as well as a fair few tourists.
Dress Code: I think as long as it is tidy anything should be ok.
