this is a little area of pubs/eaterys.It offers some nice trendy bars and a few different varieties of bars.
There is a dance club in the area and there is also a bar called bamboo's which is quite funky and different.

Dress Code: smart jeans can be worn.

One of the best resturants (if not the cheapest) in town is the Chung Ying Garden, just off Hurst Street, just before it joins Smallbrook Queensway. From the outside it doesn't look the most promising, but inside it's nice, and the food really is worth the extra.

Dress Code: None really, but most people there tend to be quite smart, I wouldn't go in shorts and t-***.

As with any large city, Birmingham has its own China Town.

As you would expect this is where the best chinese restuarants are.

This place also has a thriving nightlife, with plenty of bars, clubs and theatres.

Note - beware however, as this is near to the Village (gay epiecentre of Birmingham) - unless thats your thing of course.
