    THE BIRCHY'S DO CRUFTS

    The Ultimate Prize at Crufts

It's the world's biggest dog show which takes place at the National Exhibition Center next to the Birmingham Airport each year in early March. Even if you only have a pet canine you won't want to miss the SHOPPING!!! Six huge exhibit halls packed with anything, everything and more that you could possibly purchase for your favorite pooch. Of course those in the UK get to see each evening's finals on the telly but it is so much more fun in person.

The National Exhibition Centre stages more than 180 exhibitions each year, ranging from world-famous public shows such as Crufts Dog Show and Clotheshow Live to international trade exhibitions like IPEX and Spring Fair, Birmingham. The centre is also the biggest in Britain and seventh largest in Europe with 20 interconnected halls, set in 628 acres.

Dive is the short name of the International Sub-Aqua and Watersports Show. It is a mecca for those who can't wait to get wet, with all the gear you could ever need. Previous events have also included displays of vintage diving equipment, which makes visitors realise how technology has advanced to make exploring the deep both safer and more enjoyable.

The National Exhibition Centre is the busiest exhibition venue in Europe and one of the largest. It holds 190,000 square metres of space in 20 halls - far bigger than any other centre in the UK.

If theres an exhibition on in the UK, the chance is it at the NEC. From the motor show to the good food guide it all happens here.

This venue also hosts a lot of music events.
