Luggage and bags: Whatever you choose to use!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comfortable flat shoes or your walking boots. A rainproof coat. Something warm - but layers are best!
Photo Equipment: A good digital camera
Miscellaneous: The Good Pub Guide and the Ordnance Survey maps of the area.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: An umbrella.
Although we have plenty of lovely, sunny days we also have plenty of wet ones too. At least if you bring a brolly you won't be caught unawares!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: There can be a lot of wasps around during summer months so insect repellent / ointment for sting relief might be a good idea, especially if travelling with children.
Photo Equipment: Everything should be readily available. There are several good photographic shops within the city centre.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Coventry's not near a beach but there is an open air swimming pool in nearby Kenilworth.
