Quite a nice, small city with a historic centre and a lovely Cathedral. Some nice old shops, pubs and restaurants. Worth a few hours at least.
Visit Baddesley Clinton
A moated manor house, dating from the 15th century. The house was a haven for persecuted Catholics (it has three priest-holes) and there is a lovely garden with ponds.
Visit Packwood House
Originally dating from the 16th-century, it is now a 20th-century pastiche of Tudor architecture. The gardens are famous for their herbaceous borders and famous collection of yew trees.
The Old Windmill
The Old Windmill is a fantastic Historic Pub situated on Medieval Spon Street. It has some great little hideaway rooms with some great old fireplaces and leaded windows.
