    Touchwood Shopping Centre

This is not a huge centre but it does contain a number of restaurants, shops and the exceptional department store - John Lewis Partnership (JLP). JLP is unusual in that it is a worker co-operative selling very good quality goods with extremely high customer service and after-care service (ie guarantees on goods that are often extended automatically without charge). Defective goods are always changed without hesitation, even goods bought in another JLP store and even if they did not have a guarantee.
