La Campania: Good Italian in Arundel
This is a nice little restaurant and I was particularly fond of the homely feel of the decor. It's so much nicer than the rather clinical and bland appearance of so many (often chain owned) Italian restaurants in the UK now.
They have a good wine list and some great value deals at lunchtime.
The food was of good quality and the service swift and friendly so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Arundel.
Favorite Dish: My favourite thing was actually the garlic bread with mozarella and oliveswhich you get to start off with whilst waiting for your first course to come along. Yummy!

The Edible Sandwich Company: All day breakfast
We had narrowed our selection down to two places, the cook for the other place had overslept a bit so we headed to our other choice, the Edible Sandwich Company. You place your order at the counter and then have a seat either indoors or outdoors along the river. We opted to eat outdoors as it was a nice sunny day.
Favorite Dish: I was feeling a bit under the weather so I opted for something off their all day breakfast menu even though it was lunchtime, scrambled eggs, toast and bacon.
Pizza Express: Clean, fresh taste pizza
My beloved Pizza Express chain:) I've mentioned them before and will continue to do so as one of the few food chains that I recommend.
Thin crust pizza, extensive options as far as toppings are concerned (and options keep increasing as well as 'style' of pizza. They now offer the Romana style of base, which is even thinner than the standard pizza. Plus the pizza legerra is a lighter, healthier option - with the centre of the dough removed and replaced with salad. Good choice for lunch.
And as with any other Pizza Express, style and design is moreorless standard - clean loking, contemporary, stylish without being unwelcoming.
Kings Arms: Welcoming
I do not think I have ever seen such a sign before! A pub not only welcoming patrons to bring their own food, but also willing to provide utensils, seats etc...
So grab yourself your lunch from one of the food shops, order yourself a pint of excellent real ale and settle in.
The Red Lion: A good honest pub lunch
A friendly pub with at least 2 draught bitters and a good menu to suit most tastes.
Never had a bad meal here yet.
There is a small beer garden at the back of the pub which is the best place to sit..... if the weather is good!!
This place has changed somewhat since this review. Not really a traditional feel anymore :(
Favorite Dish: Steak and Ale Pie - yum!
Moathouse Cafe and Restaurant: Good Cafe Food
This is a lovely little cafe with prompt and friendly service.
The last time I was here we were particularly indecisive when
it came to a filling for a jacket potato. The waitress was very patient and even recommended a filling for us - prawn mayonnaise, it turned out to be very nice.
In addition to lots of light bites for lunch, they also do a good line in ice cream, very tasty, particularly the strawberry flavour.
The Moathouse is definitely a cafe to consider if you are in this part of the UK.
Favorite Dish: Prawn mayonnaise filled jacket potato
The Black Rabbit: Lunch by the river
This has always been a popular summer spot as the pub with it's gardens sits on the bank of the river Arun. A good selection of ales and also a very good restuarant.
Has tons of parking, you can even come in your boat.
Favorite Dish: Sunday lunch.
