Sweet Memories of Arundel: Sweet shopping
My husband loves British candy, everytime we visit we have to pick up Love Hearts and an assortment of his other favorites so naturally we had to stop by Sweet Memories of Arundel for a look around. The shelves are floor to ceiling, filled with every kind of imaginable candy in giant plastic jars-boiled sweets, bon bons, rocks and creams, chocolate, gummies plus an assortment of pre packaged sweets.
What to buy: We didn't want to lug Love Hearts around with us as we knew we could get them in London so we settled on some boiled sweets, clove, cinnamon and cola flavored.
What to pay: Slightly more expensive than the supermarkets for the pre packaged sweets but you can't beat the variety here
Pallant of Arundel: Shopping for lunch?

There is a good selection of British cheeses and meats for sale.
A good all round wine selecton and some very nice ports are for sale.
But if you do want a snack then there are plenty of meat pies of varying fillings, all with large amounts of meat in - yummy!

What to buy: Meat Pies are good!
The Walking Stick Shop: Walking Sticks
Quite a unique shop in that it specializes in walking sticks! I know it was quite a fashion in the early parts of the last century, but these can make an amusing gift for older members of the family?
What to buy: Walking sticks.
