This is an old-fashioned style shop, better described as an emporium with old fashioned staff, the emphasis being on old and reminds me of shopping with my father 50 years ago. I have no doubt that with the return of the suit and more classic quality clothes that this type of establishment will prosper again.
In the labyrinthine interior here are huge selections of mens clothes - at least 100 designs of pyjamas for example, as well as accessories, and the staff will help you with anything, I even heard a customer ask for,and get, help in choosing his socks! They also have a clothes hire department.
Ladies, it is a perfect place to get that special gift for the man in your life, and you will be delighted by the couteous and attentive staff.

We always find little things to take home for gifts (or for ourselves) in Cathedral shops. The fact that Chichester sited their shop in the detached bell tower was rather nice.
