    The Bradford Mela is part of the Bradford Festival. It occurs during the Summer. It is a celebration of the cultural, heritage and history and the multi faith and diversity of Bradford.

    The word 'Mela' means 'fair or carnival' and has simiar activities such as rides, stalls and entertainment.

    If you choose to visit the UK and are in Yorkshire I strongly recommend you pop into Bradford at this time of year.

    Example of event: The Lord Mayors Carnival Parade on 25th June through the City Centre. A spectacular display of colour and rhythm involving schools and community groups from across Bradford District.

    Admission is free.
