A Wetherspoons pub in Brighouse. The Richard Oastler was originally a Methodist church. The ambience inside is amazing. The top layer of this very light and airy building has a beautiful organ and wooden pews.

    Favorite Dish: MIXED GRILL

I had breakfast here on a day trip to Oldham (more Costa coffee)
I also visited Uppermill on Saddleworth moor(unfortunately no Costa here)

Favorite Dish: I had a medium Latte and a cheese and ham toastie.......delicious

    Lounge 68: Smart eatery

by orlikins Updated Apr 4, 2011

Very smart decor. Only gripe I would have is that I went in cos I saw this beautifully described honey and barbeque-glazed duck in the menu posted up in the window, but it was not on the menu given inside. Pity, cos I looooooooove duck! :)

Favorite Dish: Delicious - I had salmon and crab cakes for starters, thai chicken curry for the main and of course, a chocolate start for dessert.

Kabana: Fancy front for a nice relaxed curry

by Muarrij Written Jan 30, 2008

This curry house is a little strange, the exterior decor resembles that of a Pakistani wedding house, internally its creative atmosphere is a mix between western art decor and eastern glitz.
The kitchen is open on the ground floor so you can see the chef cooking, the food is good and excellent value for money.
The staff here are overly attentive, but then again we visited on a Tuesday night, and it wasnt at all busy.
Ideal restaurant for birthday party dinners etc. Good variety of Pakistani curries available here and overly posh decor.
Must check out their washrooms - one of the nicest I have seen for a Curry house.

Favorite Dish: The speciality here is the karahi meat dishes that come served on a 1 metre diameter metal plate serverd centre table, surrounded by hot nans. Very spicy and tasty, go for the buffet style salad and spices that compliment your dinner.

    MIXED GRILL

The cherry tree is a typical Wetherspoons restaurant. The food is nice and the service quite quick.

Favorite Dish: My favourite is the mixed grill. My favourite drink is a Pimms.
