The people from Huddersfield get very upset if you push into a queue. Even when it is totally obvious you have been waiting there an hour for the bus, if you're not in the queue you'll at least get funny looks.
The bus to Oldham on Saturdays gets really busy, so I tend to arrive an hour early, sit on the seats by the stand, and read a book.
