I you happen to visit Savernake Forest, or are in the vicinity of Marlborough, then you must make a visit to the famous Polly's Tea Rooms

Fresh ground coffee smells, and the tempting homemade chocolates and cakes displayed, are sure to lure you into this haven. Cream teas are out of this world. England is noted for it's cream teas.

Favorite Dish: Huge cream cakes !!

    possibly loaded with calories !

There are lots of small designer boutiques in Marlborough and I think it is the type of place where a 'Mother of the Bride' could easily buy an outfit! There are shops for younger buyers, but you need a bit of money!

What to buy: That special outfit

What to pay: Varies from shop to shop
