Salisbury has the oldest market in the UK

We are devoted to giving people in and around the Salisbury area with physical or learning disabilities a better way of life, so that they are treated as an equal. We don’t have an office as yet although we are looking. Once a month we have a social evening in a pub in and around Salisbury, where we discuss what people want to do next.

We have done several visits like the Isle of Wight, Blackpool Illuminations, Butlins and Florida. We also organise day trips to local shows and museums, if you want to do something all you have to do is ask.

Please check our website for further details.

George the flowery dragon

hi there!

This model of a dragon I believe is made up entirely out of flowers & leaves. He (the notice says it’s male) keeps moving all over Salisbury & is a delight to children. CCTV have a close view on him, there’s a large notice to explain what he does & who he is. St George’s Day is celebrated here & he vanishes back into hibernation after a few months.

Here comes the sun!

This event happens every 21st June at Stonehenge. many people including new Age travellers, Druids and the police come to watch the sun rise over the Healing Stone. Over 1000 people came this year to watch this amazing event, and there was a big party afterwards.
