Hike or Bike..That is the question
    1 more image

C P is a real Mecca for kids and families who love biking and outdoor activities!
    Bikes can be rented for
    ..........5 pounds a day
    ..........8 pounds for midweek term
..........12 pounds for the full week.
A simple bike lock can be bought for ?1.50
I recommend bring your own good quality one if you have an expensive bike.

If you rent a bike a Centre Parc bike then you can also
rent a trailer buggy which attaches to your bike as long
as you use the Centre Parc Rental bikes.
A great way to pedal round the forest with extensive bike paths.
Not sure of the rental charge though.
Maximum weight of the child must not excede 45 kilos.
The buggies are protected and enclosed so never mind if it rains or snows.

Aqua Sana Spa at Centre Parc

Lake close to the spa at Centre Parc Longleat

Although I did not personally partake in the
spa activities, my sister and my bro-in-law did
go for a session! Bit pricey but they enjoyed it.

    Aqua Sana Spa

Immerse yourself in the timeless luxury of our Spa. Stress just melts away as you abandon yourself to some of the most sublime multi-sensory experiences.
    Finnish Sauna

Unlike our Tyrolean Sauna this wooden lined cabin developed in Finland has an automatic water spray onto the heated coals. With a temperature of around 70°C and a humidity of 60%, this experience is good for both body and mind.
    Greek Herbal Bath

This is a very mild, gentle sauna, which infuses essences such as camomile. Water is then trickled over the heated herbs for inhalation. Soothing and calming, it can be a relaxing beginning to the Spa experience.
    Ice Room

Take handfuls of ice flakes from the fountain and rub them all over the body. The ice stimulates the circulation, the lymphatic and immune systems and is a great stress reliever.
    Japanese Salt Bath

This bracing mix of mineral salts and mint essence closely resembles sea air and is especially good for clearing congestion and helping you to breathe more easily. Sitting on the heated seats, the automatically injected jet of steam stimulates the blood circulation and starts the purifying and detoxifying process.

Aqua Sana Spa at Centre Parc

    by budapest8 Written May 20, 2006
The Spa makes me 30 years younger..Franklin

Inspired by the Japanese art of quiet contemplation, enjoy the relaxation and restorative qualities of this garden during the warmer months. The gravel symbolises a sea of tranquillity. the rocks and meandering stepping stones within this 'sea' symbolise islands or mountains above the clouds. Try walking barefoot along the cobbles to the front of the pergola for a stress-relieving foot massage.
    Laconium

This Roman sauna is a gentle, purifying and detoxifying heat bath. The body gradually warms up to stimulate the circulation, so take a leisurely 15 minutes with your feet up on the heated bench.
    Meditation Room

Slip in here to relax. The heated loungers warm up your body in preparation for massage treatments or any heat experiences.
    Multi Sensory Showers

Choose from three very different shower experiences, all with light, sound and scent. Options include the raindrops of a tropical storm and a refreshingly cold and minty mist.
    Reflexology Footbaths

A relaxing, effervescent footbath, with heated seats. Bubbles massage the feet and ankles and stimulate pressure points - just like the pedidarium of the Roman Baths.
    Spa Pool

An exhilarating outdoor pool with hydrotherapy jets where you can simply float or gently bubble and relax all your cares away.
    Tyrolean Sauna

With the essence of pine and mountain herbs the traditional, wood-lined sauna, deeply cleansing as the body gets hotter and the pores open. Use it in combination with the Ice Room or with a cold shower for maximum effect.
    Turkish Hammam

A mild steam bath based on a Turkish style steam room with the characteristic Ottoman blue and yellow tiling and motifs. The bath has a moist, aromatic atmosphere that is both purifying and detoxifying.
